Bhartiya politician Harish Rawat is from the state of Uttarakhand. Rawat, who was born on April 27, 1948, had a lengthy political career. Throughout his political career, he has held several prominent roles and has been associated with the Indian National Congress (INC) party. From 2002 until 2009, Rawat was a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha. He also served as the union government’s Minister of State for Labour and Employment. Assisting the INC-led state government, Rawat was appointed chief minister of Uttarakhand in 2014. He concentrated on numerous developmental projects, such as building new roads and schools and improving healthcare. Natural disasters like the disaster of the 2013 floods in Uttarakhand presented challenges throughout Rawat’s term in office.
